Brandy Prestigio

The renowned spirit arrives with Brandy Prestigio 50. This particular brandy is the result of a long tradition in the production of this highly acclaimed beverage. Furthermore, it comes from a solera originating from a very special vintage, the 1946 reserve, from which a very limited, numbered, controlled, and exclusive series of Brandy Prestigio bottles is produced each year.
How is it made? It is obtained through the distillation of wine with an alcohol content of 40% and aged using the traditional solera method, in which Prestigio Brandy is placed in American oak casks for a minimum of five years. These casks must have previously contained one of the Sherry wine varieties for at least three years.
The distillation is carried out with the wines removed from their lees and through a single distillation, separating the heads and tails and selecting only the middle fraction of the spirits.
This solera process gives Prestigio Brandy 50 organoleptic properties over time. This is due to the type of wood used to make the casks and the liquid they previously contained. Approximately one-quarter of the total contents of each cask are drawn. Subsequently, the void created in each solera is replenished with brandy from casks located in the level immediately above. This fractional aging process gives Prestigio Brandy exceptional consistency and proven quality.
The result is a distillate with an intense aroma and a crystalline brown color, featuring subtle hints of licorice and wood. It is undoubtedly a gift for the palate. It surpasses the expectations of even the most discerning and demanding connoisseurs. You won’t find another brandy like it. No other is as exclusive as the limited number bottled each year by this brandy.
